Slovenian is one of the safest countries in the world. Also because 65 % of it inhabitants speaks English fluently, it is one of the most friendly countries for foreigners.
Slovenia, officially the Republic of Slovenia, is a sovereign state located in southern Central Europe. It has an area of 20,273 square km. Ljubljana is its capital and the largest city. Slovenian is the official language of the country. Euro (€) (EUR) is its official currency. Though being small, it is a natural bio-diverse nation with plenty of tourist attractions. With a narrow coastline, it shares its land borders with four countries – Austria, Croatia, Hungary, and Italy. It is mostly a mountainous country.
Slovenia is also one of the safest places in the world according to the 2019 Travel Risk Map issued by the International SOS and Control Risks. Only six other countries have seen their security risk classified as insignificant.
